‘Living Strong’ Nutrition Program

The ‘Living Strong’ program is available to all community members over the age of 16.

‘Living Strong’ meetings are held weekly for 12 weeks, and each session covers a different topic for leading a healthy lifestyle including;

  • Buying Healthy Food
  • Diabetes Awareness
  • Healthy Cooking
  • How to Spend Your Food Shopping Money
  • Move More to Lose More
  • Self Esteem and Behaviour Change
  • Staying on Track
  • What to Eat to Stay Healthy
  • Why Do People Get Too Heavy

The Nutrition Health worker also offers a flexible program for home visiting.
